去る３月１５日にニュージーランド クライストチャーチ市内のモスクでテロ事件が起きました。本校の姉妹校であるカシミア高校の生徒２名が亡くなられました。ここに謹んで哀悼の意を表します。
そして，生徒の皆さんには（カシミア高校から送ってくださった写真を見て）たくさんのことを考えて欲しいと思います。何故こんなことが起きてしまったのでしょうか。グローバルな社会ではさまざまな人がいて、さまざまなことが起きます。今回の事件がどうして起こったのか，その本質をつかむために問うてください。

I deeply show my sincerest condolences with victims in the terrible shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand. I would like every student in Kurashiki Minami High School to think a lot about this tragedy. One thing to think about is what brought about this event. There are various people and various events in the world. You need to think deeply about them to know the substance of the affair.
